Emotional healing and weight loss transformation: Debbie’s story
When I first spoke with Debbie, she was struggling emotionally and physically and not feeling like herself.
She had been putting on weight and didn’t recognize the person she saw in the mirror.
Then, she experienced the devastating loss of her mom.
Just when things felt as low as they could go - Debbie had a skiing accident that left her immobilized as she healed.
Her favorite outlet for emotional and physical relief was volleyball and now she was sidelined.
Debbie knew things had to change.
She had a clear vision of how she wanted to feel - she just didn’t know how to get there. It wasn’t a question of desire or motivation, Debbie was unsure of how to reach her goal.
Having tried various diets in the past - what used to work, wasn’t working anymore.
She knew getting results would take a different approach.
Despite feeling hesitant about the changes she would have to make, Debbie decided to work with me. She shared it’s one of the best decisions she’s ever made!
Over the last 10 months, Debbie has gradually made changes to improve her nutrition. She’s been strength training and focusing on hydrating, sleeping better, and managing her stress.
As a result, Debbie is down 37 lbs and feels amazing! The focus on fat loss, as opposed to weight loss, has helped her feel amazing in her clothes and when she looks in the mirror.
She has more energy and no longer feels pain when she gets out of bed in the morning. She feels strong and energized enough to play volleyball and go on walks with her family.
Her kids are also eating better as a result of the changes Debbie has made. Her bloodwork is coming back with improvements across the board.
Debbie doesn’t have to worry about how to lose weight and improve her health anymore because she’s adopted a lifestyle change - one that will stick with her forever.
I’m so thrilled for Debbie’s progress! I’m proud of her for all the hard work she’s put into this. She’s an inspiration!
